Design is more than just making things pretty.
Yes, that’s part of it (the part that’s immediately obvious).
But how functional is it?
We’ve seen plenty of designs in our time that are pretty, but not insightful or easy to use. That defeats the purpose!
Really, the whole point of designing a digital experience is to make it more usable. There’s beauty in simplicity. Taking action should be so simple that the user knows exactly what to do.
Give a function!
