Are your KPIs at odds with your core values?
I’ve seen so many posts, especially in the last month, about layoffs. Some describe being locked out of their computers as soon as they got back to their desks, while others mention their leadership running a job fair event for those without jobs.
The question in my mind is not so much what leadership does AFTER the layoffs, but what are they focusing on BEFORE they lay off so many?
I know that running a small agency doesn’t compare with the complexity of managing a Fortune 500 company, but aren’t our core values still as important?
It is time to dust off your company vision and branding docs to refocus on what is most important…and revise your KPIs accordingly.
