There are people in my online circles with very different views and opinions than me. Sometimes what they say annoys me. Yet I resist the urge to unfollow them, because I stand to learn the most from someone who doesn’t think like me. I don’t want to be in a bubble of people I self-select and only hear what reinforces what I think already. This is a danger of our increasingly online social lives, that it’s too easy to filter our feeds into curated ideas that don’t challenge us.
I prefer to be challenged. Educate me!
