Without a clear product vision, AI is useless.
The main reason we see products fail is because they get off course from their vision. It’s easy to get distracted with shiny object syndrome and focus on the latest cool feature. And needless to say, AI is quite shiny.
And it’s affecting us as well. We’ve gone back to our vision to see how AI fits in. Now more than ever, having clarity around a vision is going to be the key to success going forward. Every action should be a step towards it.
It’s common to feel inadequate or like we need to catch up. No need to get into panic mode – just be sure to revisit the product vision to see where AI fits in naturally so it doesn’t derail our efforts.
