Kathryn brings 20 years of brand strategy experience to the design and launch of successful applications, products, and services. She holds an MBA in business strategy from the University of Virginia’s Colgate Darden School, and she has helped companies ranging from start-ups to global enterprises create new markets while managing risks.

Through her involvement in the community Kathryn has helped to shape expectations for digital experiences. She founded the User Experience Professionals Association of Los Angeles and has served on UXPA’s international Board of Directors. She participates on advisory boards for UCLA and Cal State Fullerton, and teaches, and speaks regularly at industry events.

National Parks

As a researcher, I’m thrilled to share that “forest bathing” is now proven to reduce stress. I find it stimulates creativity and positivity as well.


Swing Dancing

We right brain-centric desk jockeys need an occasional break from numbers and logic, and dancing is one of the best ways that I’ve found to both exercise and unwind.



I am very involved in local voter registration and political campaigns in my “free time.” It gives me faith in our political system to have my Congressman’s cell phone number.
